  • Six ciders in 500ml bottles selected by the Bristol Cider Shop tasters, ABV 6.5-8.2%

Vintage Cider has a unique big, bold tannic flavour and style, and packs a punch too at typically 6.5% or more. It's probably our most requested mixed case, so we have relented and re-introduced it.

Showcasing six outstanding Vintage ciders, all aged for many months to create deep, rich and complex tannic flavours - and all packing a punch too at over 6.5% ABV. Think big booming red wines by the fireside, and this is the cider equivalent. Perfect for warming up after a long walk on a cold day, or accompanying rich stews, roasts, cheeses or spicy nibbles.

The six Vintages in the case will vary according to availability, but will typically include:

Perry's Vintage, Somerset, Medium, 6.7% - Made using the best apples each autumn at Perry's in South Somerset, then crucially aged in barrels for over a year to mature, intensify and mellow. It's then blended with Dabinett cider to create a deep, satisfying medium of beautiful balance and flavour.

Rich's Vintage, Somerset, Medium, 7.2% - Brand new from Rich's in the last few weeks, their new Medium Vintage is a real classic. With flavour, tannins and strength all up a notch from their ever-popular Farmhouse, this is one of the best Vintage ciders we have tasted in a while. Matured in oak vats for several months, this full-bodied cider really packs a punch and is sure to be popular.

Sandford Orchards 'The General', Devon, Medium, 8.4% - Described by Sandford as a "Mighty Vat Aged Cider" and by The Ciderologist Gabe Cook as "like liquid Christmas pudding", this really is a cacophony of big, complex, rich and deep fruity flavours, with a warming and long finish. Like no other cider we have tasted in a long while!

Sheppy's Vintage, Somerset, Medium Dry, 6.7% - Another brand new release, this 2020 Vintage cider has been aged for a year to create a deep and well-balanced flavour, then blended with a small amount of cloudy apple juice, to create a medium-dry taste, and add a cloudy appearance.

Award-Winning Craft Cider
2x UK Cider Retailer Of The Year

Made in the UK
Bristol Cider Shop is the original independent cider shop in the UK, founded in 2010, to provide a range of craft ciders to both cider-loving and cider-curious Bristolians. Whilst some of the early history may be a bit hazy, due to a whirlwind of product tastings, having fun and learning about good (and bad) cider, the business moved online in 2011, to spread the word even wider. From the original shop, via the foodie hub of Harbourside, in 2020 we decided to focus online, to make proper cider available across the land. Along the way we were honoured to be awarded UK Independent Cider Retailer of the Year 2015 and 2018.

How quickly will I get my order?

We will ship all orders in 2 working days maximum, often next day.  Deliveries are only made Monday to Friday.

Can I request delivery for a specific day?

Unfortunately we can't guarantee delivery for a specific date, but will try our best to delay it if needed for a future date. Just add a note to checkout.

What happens If I am not in?

Because we are shipping a Licensed product (alcohol), parcels wont normally be left safe. One of 3 things will happen:

1. It will be delivered to a neighbour and signed for - the tracking will show a photo

2. Delivery will be attempted 2 more times to you

3. It will be taken to your local Post Office for you to collect, and a card left through your letterbox.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is £5.95 for most of UK for your first case and then £2.95 for additional ones. Rather than hiding the delivery cost in the product price and offering free delivery (there’s no such thing as free delivery!) we’d rather be transparent about the cost of the product and the cost of the delivery.

Are there any places you cannot ship?

We currently only ship within the UK. Delivery to UK islands, Scottish Islands and Scottish Highlands postcodes may cost extra - delivery charges will be displayed at checkout. Unfortunately we cannot now deliver to Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands - apologies. Nor can we ship outside the UK.

I live in Bristol. Can I collect?

Unfortunately our licence doesn’t allow us to have customer collections on site so we can only take orders for delivery, sorry! Watch this space though for Summer 2024.

How can I track my order?

When we ship your order, you should receive an email from us containing a tracking code from our couriers . The quickest way to track your parcel is to follow the tracking link and this will show you the status of your delivery in real time. This will also allow you to change any delivery details if you need to. If you have any further problems, please email us at queries@bristolcidershop.co.uk and we will do our best to help. Sorry we don't have a phone number.

Can I add a Gift Message?

Yes you can, simply add it in at checkout and we will include it on a card. No paperwork is included in the boxes, so no pricing information is given out.
