Get in the mood for the Rugby World Cup, with this unique Rugby themed case. Celebrate, commiserate, or just enjoy slowly during the match. This has been one of the most fun cases we have curated, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did! You will get:
Sandford Orchards 'Rib Tickler' 5% Medium - Devon
Made from scratch from picking the apples to blending the cider, by a Team of 6 Exeter Chiefs players led by England back-rower Sam Simmonds, to raise funds for Restart, a charity of the Rugby Players Association. Barny from Sandford was on hand to advise, but this was the players project, and this is the result. A "rib tickler" is a rugby term for a heavy tackle.
The attention to detail is remarkable - the label is designed to look and feel like a grippy rugby ball too! Unique.
Just Pressed 'Blindside' 4% Medium - Glos
Not only named after a crucial rugby position, it's made by Jake Polledri, Gloucester Player and Italian International, son of Bristol legend Peter Polledri who played 466 times for Bristol, and knew a good cider when he saw one. Jake has inherited his rugby skill and cider passion, and 'Blindside' is a lightly sparkling medium.
Kicking Goat Dry - 4.8% Somerset
Who is your Kicking GOAT (Greatest of All Time)? Maybe Jonny? Anyway these new guys from Somerset are making some great ciders, perfect for watching the big game with. Moreish in flavour and classic in style; a seriously refreshing attitude with a crisp finish, naturally sweetened and subtly oaky. Full of character, this is a proper, authentically modern dry cider with a kick of premium quality. All apple, no kidding.
Blindside Cider 'Captain's Run' 5.2% Medium - S Wales
Started by 4 Rugby playing mates from South Wales, the business idea started, well, after a few ciders in the Clubhouse - determined to link Rugby and Cider as two fine things in life. Donations from each bottle go back into Grass Roots rugby, that had given the guys so much in the past. Not that the Welsh need any more passion in a World Cup. 'Captain's Run' is their flagship Medium.
Henney's 'England's Pride' 6% Medium - Herefordshire
Ok, this is where we lose customer's outside England, but here goes anyway. Cheer for the England lads while enjoying this classic light Medium sparkling cider from the Herefordshire cider heartlands. Mike started with making 5 gallons in an airing cupboard in 1996, and has now grown a very successful business.
Hogan's 'French Revelation' 4.8% Medium - Warks
The French have been a Revelation on he Rugby Pitch in the last 2 seasons, and on home turf, maybe they will secure the silverware?
Alan Hogan and his team have been making some great experimental ciders, and wanted to make a Breton style keeved cider, combining big tannic flavours yet still retaining sweetness and smoothness, and a different mouthfeel. Really, really good cider for enjoying slowly.
May the Best Team win, and enjoy the Rugby feast of the World Cup.
